Bakery Clerk (Part-Time/full-time):

Greet customers and provide quality, personalized service.

Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.

Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among all team members.

Responsible for excellent customer service and quality products.

Follows proper handle and correct temperatures for all food products.

Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas.

Seamlessly work on tasks for front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH), depending on what is needed.

Performs a variety of duties throughout the day after given direction from Kitchen or General/Store Managers.

Able to switch between prep and customer service as needed, depending on needs of the bakery at different times of day.

Prepares items with attention to detail and appealing presentation based on company standards.

Operates all bakery equipment properly, after training.

Ability to switch between packaging items, cleaning areas that are needed, and performing minor decorating tasks to complete baked goods for sale.

Able to lift up to 25lbs.

Baker (Part-Time/full-time) & Night Baker (full-time):

Responsible for operating pastry section of bakery while working closely with the Kitchen Manager.

Plan production and develop seasonal offerings with Kitchen/General Managers.

Greet customers and provide quality, personalized service.

Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.

Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among all team members.

Responsible for excellent customer service and quality products.

Follows proper handle and correct temperatures for all food products.

Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas.

Operates all bakery equipment properly, after training.

Ensures freshness of all bakery items and food in bakery.

Replenish food items according to customer needs, customer demands, and overstock.

Ensure that baked items are cooked according to recipes standards.

Make sure all bakery case items are presented to customers in a pleasing manner and that the case and presentation of baked goods remains neat and appealing.

Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Operates and maintains all department equipment and reports malfunctions.

Reports all equipment problems, maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisors immediately.

Produce quality baked goods according to recipes and presentation standards of the company.

Ensure food safety at all times during the baking process.

Ensure completeness of ingredients in each recipe during the baking process.

Rotates stock as needed according to FIFO (first in, first out).

Able to lift up to 25lbs.

Cake Decorator (full-time):

Greet customers and provide quality, personalized service.

Responsible for excellent customer service and quality products.

Follows proper handling and correct temperatures for all food products.

Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas.

Ability to flat ice all cakes according to company standards.

Experience with fondant work, weddings, dying frosting to achieve correct colors, and knowledgeable of a variety of decorating techniques, not limited to: roses, scroll work, polka dots, rough iced/textured buttercream, buttercream transfers, ribbon tips, rosettes, hand painting, etc.

Able to achieve most looks without the use of an airbrush machine.

Experience in wedding consultations, taking custom cake orders, following through to create cakes, and assisting with deliveries as needed.

Knows personal limitations and challenges self to create new artistic pieces without over stepping limitations.

Communicates effectively with bakers and kitchen managers to ensure all cakes and special orders have been made with adequate time for decorating.

Responsible for the creation and/or supervision of case cakes and custom cookies/cupcakes for holidays.

Ability to take cake orders and execute proper spelling, storage, and decorations according to customer wants and needs.
